Due to local differences in climate and environment, in some cases, you have a highly corrosive environment and need CX-classified materials; in other areas, C4 will be sufficient. Solutions
Wibe Group can offer a wide range of products and solutions, in all material qualities usable for all kinds of Offshore Wind applications. WE offer standard cable ladders and trays, including wire-mesh trays in all material qualities, but we also have support systems in both steel and GRP (fiberglass) that are specially designed for HV cable installation. By using a truly flexible HV support system that can be adapted to where the cable is laying, you will reduce installation time dramatically compared to a lot of other systems in the market. Wibe group can assist in doing all the design and calculations for the HV cable support system, and in our top modern test lab at our HQ in Sweden, we can also do live testing to ensure that we meet all requirements.
In addition to finding the right material, assisting in doing the design, we can also produce the material needed in the right lengths and deliver it as a kit. This is to ensure there is no waste of material (cost and CO2), avoid cutting and drilling on site, and increase the efficiency of the installation.
